One of the most essential aspects of LifeForce: Tao of Medical Qigong is the traditional Medical Qigong training that participants receive when they live, study and practice with Grand Master Nan Lu. Training is completed in three phases.
January 27-Feb 5
THIS SESSION IS NOW FULL
Training begins with a 10-day intensive in the Catskill mountains. Away from the distractions of urban environments, students can concentrate on building their energy foundation while connecting to nature.
Live with the master and be personally guided. Intensive practices cultivate inner vibrations that connect the microcosmic to the macrocosmic orbit. Once achieved, Qi must be guided to flow through specific channels. This will enable the practitioner to use high levels of Qi for healing others.
While the above is the main focus, lectures and discussions on Five Element Consciousness, Yin Yang theory and Meridian theory are part of the teachings.
What happens next?
After the 10-day intensive, there is a 3 month period of personal practice and conference calls with support staff.
- The group is expected to attend 2 calls a month.
- Dates and times are determined by the group.
- Grand Master Lu attends some of the calls.
Typically a 4 day weekend is scheduled in early Spring. Tentative dates March 30-April 2. At this time, Master Lu will check energy levels and refine skills. Students at now shown how to use Qi to care for others.
- Room and Board for both weekends at the retreat center are included in the tuition.
